The U.S. Ski Team Is Back To Work
Lindsey Vonn is back training with the U.S. Ski Team after taking a break following a triumphant season. Her successes in her 2010 Winter campaign include a third consecutive world cup title, along with gold in downhill and bronze in Super G at the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Although the snow is scarce in the Northern Hemisphere during the summer months, champagne powder is abundant in mountainous areas of the Southern Hemisphere, which is why the U.S. ski team is currently in Queenstown, New Zealand.
When on a mountain, whether exercising, training, or simply relaxing and taking in the view, it is absolutely essential to have a water bottle on you. Dehydration at high elevations leads to altitude sickness, which is accompanied by numerous unpleasant symptoms such as headaches, fever, and nosebleeds. Skiers and snowboarders are always advised to have a water bottle on them while on the slopes.
As the exclusive provider of stainless steel water bottles for the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding, New Wave Enviro is proud to provide the safest, most eco-friendly bottles to the outstanding athletes who comprise these teams. And you can have these cool bottles too!
